Special offers and discounts
Any special offers we display are great bargains, however are only valid for the time shown on the website, once removed they cannot be honoured. Voucher codes are only valid for one use per person. Voucher codes are only valid for the time period given and can be withdrawn at any time.
Orders and Product/Stock
Orders placed via our website and over the phone are processed and normally confirmed within 24 working hours via email. We will always reply should we feel we need to cancel your order and we reserve the right to cancel any order placed with us at anytime. If you do not receive a confirmation email from us please check your SPAM filtering and then contact us immediately, do not assume everything is ok.
Where possible we keep items in stock, however from time to time some items may be out of stock. Should you require goods within a specific timescale you may call us to discuss stock and lead times with us.
OUR ORDER RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Endeavour to process and confirm your order within 24 working hours from our check-out process being completed, or phone order details being taken.
2) Keep you informed of any issues with your order in regards to stock levels and estimated delivery dates. Should any estimates we have given change we will inform you as soon as we know.
3) We aim to despatch goods within 48hrs of order, Mon-Fri, excluding public holidays and the break between Christmas and New Year. We aim to deliver all goods within 7 days from ordering for UK orders and 28 days for non-UK orders. You may cancel your order at anytime before despatch by sending an email to info@bytherefore.com, although it may not always be possible to stop goods from being sent out as despatch instructions are sent electronically to our warehouse as soon as your order is placed.
4) We are customer service led, when given specific instructions from our customer we endeavour to carry these out. However, we do ask for your understanding when requests things infrequently don't go to plan.
YOUR ORDERING RESPONSIBILITIES
By placing an order with us you agree to the following:
1) To pay for the goods in full with your own funds or with funds you are authorised to use.
2) To be available to receive the goods via courier or postal services that require a signature between the hours of 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday. Or give instructions for items to be left and you agree to the terms detailed in DELIVERIES & DELIVERY SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS below.
3) If on the very rare occasion we have informed you that your delivery is due and you have not received a failure card at the address and it is out of the delivery times, you must inform us straight away by leaving a phone message or sending an email.
4) To check the goods within 24 hours of arrival and inform us within 48 hours of any damages due to delivery. Please see the “my goods are damaged” section for more information.
Pricing charge and payments
All prices shown on bytherfore.com are VAT inclusive @ 15%.
A VAT invoice/receipt will be enclosed with each order.
Delivery charges are explained on each products technical specification page.
All orders (including trade) must be paid for in full before any goods are despatched.
We accept all major credit cards except American Express.
Website orders can only be placed using a valid UK credit card via Protx secure payment processing.
Phone orders can be paid for via Credit Card, Postal Order or Cheque. However a payment by cheque must clear into our bank before we will despatch your order.
Delivery
Our products can be delivered anywhere in the world. All our deliveries are made using Royal Mail or well known courier companies. Postage and packaging are not included in the unit price of each item and will be charged separately on each order. Charges can be found on each products technical page.
Courier companies charge us more for delivering to areas outside mainland UK even though they are classed as UK. We are sorry but we have to charge these costs on.
Should you require delivery to any of the areas below, please place your order as normal and we will contact you during processing your order with an exact additional cost, at which point you may cancel your order should you want to.
These are the estimated charges for areas outside mainland UK as set by our courier.
Isle of Wight - additional charge of £12 per delivery.
Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Scottish Isles, Orkney Isles, Shetland Isles, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, Guernsey & Jersey - additional £17 per delivery -
We will give free delivery on the above destinations for orders over £200.00
We will however deduct the VAT from your order at processing for invoice addresses in Jersey and Guernsey.
We have carefully chosen the companies we use for despatching orders, however we cannot be held responsible for the third party services we employ. We are bound by their terms and conditions of service and accept no claim of responsibility for their infrequent errors.
We accept special delivery instructions at the time of ordering online or when ordering on the phone with us. By giving these instructions you are accepting responsibility for your order to be left without a signature and understand that no claim can be made against our courier company or Therefore Ltd for missing / stolen / damaged items delivered under these instructions.
Without special instructions our courier will always require a signature. After 2 failed attempts to deliver an additional delivery charge will be asked for before another attempt is made, we will call you and ask for this payment or take the goods back. Should we receive goods back from a failed delivery we will refund your order minus all delivery charges, even when delivery was included for free in your order.
Delivery charges are non refundable in all circumstances.
After Sales Service - Returns, Exchanges, Faulty Goods

DAMAGED = broken, marked, scratch, smashed.
FAULTY = does not operate as it should, or starts to not operate as it should.
NOT WANTED = bought but on receipt is found to not be suitable.
If you are in any doubt of a product’s suitability you should contact us via phone or email before placing an order and we will always help.
DAMAGED ON ARRIVAL
Please call or e-mail us within 48 hours and we will send a replacement. Informing us after 48 working hours will mean that we will replace the goods for free but will charge postage and packaging for the replacement good's delivery.
FAULTY WITHIN 30 DAYS OF DELIVERY
Should you find your product is faulty within 30 days of receiving your order we will replace it free of charge.
FAULTY AFTER 30 DAYS OF DELIVERY
You may contact us with your problem, however we are likely to direct you to the customer services department of the manufacturer. Though in practice we have always managed any replacements needed on behalf of the manufacturer, each case is treated separately.
UNWANTED GOODS
WITHIN 30 DAYS OF RECEIVING YOUR ORDER
If you have not used the unwanted goods and they are in their original packaging you can return the goods for a full refund to your credit card, you must inform us of your intent of this within 30 days of receipt of the goods otherwise it will be treated as unwanted with no refund after 30 days - see below. The goods must arrive back with us within 30 days of receiving them in perfect order to qualify for a full refund. Now see HOW TO RETURN instructions below.
AFTER 30 DAYS OF RECEIVING YOUR ORDER
We do not accept returns of unwanted goods after 30 days.
HOW TO RETURN
We must be informed of any returns being made for whatever the reason. Anything received without notification will not qualify for a refund. If you inform us by email or leave a message we will always confirm. Please do not assume we have had the email if you do not hear back from us.
